About the Event

Professionals working in the wind, solar, hydrogen, storage and emerging energy sectors are invited to attend 'Renewybeers' - an informal quarterly industry networking event based in Newcastle, NSW.
​
After the overwhelming success of previous events, Renewybeers returns on Thursday August 22, 2024 for the 'Network Away the Winter' edition.
​
The event will be held at Jams beer garden (entry via 8 Union St, Newcastle West). Proceedings will start at 5PM.
​
Tickets are free but limited. Due to capacity restrictions in place, online registration is mandatory. Previous events have booked out quickly. Tickets will be provided on a 'first to register basis'.

If your company would like to contribute to the bar tab (not compulsory), contributions can be made online during registration or on the night. Please provide your logo via e-mail to contact@brighty.energy if donating ahead of the night, so we can ensure your company can be proudly displayed on the night as a sponsor.
Getting there
Sydney
By Train
Trains depart at least hourly between Sydney Central Station and Newcastle Interchange. At Newcastle Interchange, take the Newcastle Light Rail one stop (to Honeysuckle) for a 1 minute walk to the event.
Driving
From Sydney CBD, the drive is just less than 2 hours on the M1 Pacific Motorway. Plenty of street parking is available within walking distance.
Melbourne, Brisbane & Adelaide
Several direct flights run to Newcastle airport daily. It is possible to reach the venue from Newcastle Airport by bus or by Taxi. Please check COVID19 restrictions at the time of travel.
Accommodation
Several hotels are within walking distance to the venue and Newcastle Interchange.
